The problem
Mirvac is an ASX-listed property group. Its digital team needed more capacity to improve its intranet and move paper and email processes into digital forms. The work was digitising property and operations processes across HR, finance, property management and legal.
My role
I was a Digital Application Developer, then an embedded Microsoft Consultant inside the digital team, with weekly sprint check-ins and shared priorities. I provided delivery capacity and solution architecture.
What I built
- Reusable web parts and components to improve navigation and usability on the intranet.
- Digital forms with approvals and integrations on SharePoint, for HR, finance, property management and legal.
- Mobile-friendly versions of older components.
- Documentation, templates and patterns, so the internal team could extend the work themselves.
How it worked
I worked inside the digital team, not as a separate vendor stream. Weekly sprint check-ins kept priorities shared.
Documentation and patterns were part of the delivery, so the work could continue without me.
Outcomes
Business processes moved from paper and email into digital forms with approvals.
Intranet components that work on mobile.
An internal team with documentation and patterns to keep extending the work.
